A MAD TEA-PARTY

This immersive adaptation took audiences through scenes from the Lewis Carrol classic – a fusion of theatre, music, an art exhibition and a meal to die for (watch out for the Queen of Hearts!).

Built in a run down bakery in Bombay, A Mad Tea-Party took inspiration from Lewis Carol’s inimitable book ‘Alice in Wonderland’ to create what we describe as an ‘artists’ interpretation of Wonderland’.

Encouraged to explore the space on their own terms, the audience were taken through the evening by a host of fanciful characters. A collaborative effort; this show was a delightful mix of theatre, music, design, food and even an art and photography exhibition! At the end the audience were invited to join in the tea party and have a chat with the performers and creators. The show was about two hours long and was performed over a weekend run.
